Welcome to my world of kinetic art!

As a licensed engineer, my passion for mechanical movement and artistic expression has led me to create sculptures that blend the precision of engineering with the intrigue of motion. My journey began in my teen years, when I learned the fundamentals of woodworking from a family friend — a German craftsman who instilled in me a deep respect for patience, craftsmanship, and pride in one's work.

Through the years, I’ve come to understand that patience and persistence are key to perfecting my sculptures. My goal is to merge the worlds of physics and mechanical precision into art that entertains and captivates, creating experiences that will stand the test of time. Early on, I realized that the mechanisms I developed for clocks could be adapted into something that appealed to our innate attraction to movement. That was the spark that ignited my journey into kinetic sculpture.

Drawing on the latest advances in technology, my sculptures use springs, electrical mechanisms, and other materials to capture and hold attention through unique, mesmerizing motion powered by nature's surrounding energy. Each sculpture is the result of months of work, from concept to construction, where I refine the visual effect using computer animations to ensure it’s as engaging as it is beautiful.

The construction process itself is an art in precision. I carefully combine solid maple, Baltic birch, aluminum, and precision ball bearings to create sculptures that are finely balanced and reliable. It’s a meticulous effort, but one that ensures each piece functions smoothly and consistently.

Thank you for visiting, and I hope my work brings a sense of wonder and curiosity into your life.
